Code projects by Danielle Navarro
At various times in my life I have released code into the wild. Sometimes that code is reused by other people, which does make me happy. With that in mind, here is a incomplete and idiosyncratic list of some things I’ve done with code. Some of it is good, some of it isn’t. Life is like that.
ertte
Work in progress package that provides a convenience layer for exposure-response time-to-event models. Not yet on CRAN.
erplots
Early stage package that provides a model agnostic plotting framework for exposure-response plots. Currently at v0.2.0 on CRAN.
erglm
A small package to provide a convenience layer for exposure-response models that fall within the generalized linear model, and hooks into the erplots package. Currently at v0.2.0 on CRAN.
emaxnls
A lightweight tool for Emax regression models in R, providing support for exposure-response analyses using this framework, and hooks into the erplots package for visualising results. Currently at v0.2.0 on CRAN.
sessioncheck
Simple tools for checking the state of the R session. Early-stage package, intended as a drop-in replacement for the heuristic method of using rm() to clear the global environment at the top of a script; aimed at intermediate-level R users that may not be ready for advanced session management tools. Currently at v0.2.0 on CRAN.
quartose
Syntactic sugar for quarto. An early-stage package providing some tools for working with quarto programmatically. It was originally a personal-use package, but people have expressed some interest in using it so I’ve now sent it to CRAN. I like this one enough that I intend to maintain it properly, but I suspect development will be slow given life constraints. Currently at v0.2.1 on CRAN.
minis
A collection of small, standalone, zero-runtime-dependency R components (‘minis’), each shipped as a single .R file with its own drop-in test suite. Handy when you want to include a tiny snippet of functionality in a package without taking a larger dependency.
cranlint
A personal package that I use to help me avoid making foolish mistakes when preparing an R package for a CRAN submission. Highly experimental, would not recommend anyone else using it.
sketchpad
A lightweight drawing system build on S7 and grid. An experimental R package: I’m not sure what I want to do with it.
arttools
Tools for managing generative art workflows. Again, this one is very much designed around my own needs. It’s reasonably well documented and other folks are free to use it, but it’s not intended for CRAN.
flametree
A fun R package for generative art. It makes cute little cartoon trees using iterated function systems. That’s all it does, but I like it. In retrospect I don’t know why I sent it to CRAN but… it’s there and it’s not creating problems so… cool. Currently at v0.2.0 on CRAN.
lsr
The first R package I ever wrote, designed to suport a statistics textbook that is a little outdated. Surprisingly it all still seems to work as intended. So that’s something. Currently at v1.0.0 on CRAN.
